International Symposium on Advanced Magnetic Materials and Applications (ISAMMA)

This symposium aims to bring together scientists and engineers from Asia and around the world who are working on magnetic materials and their applications, with a stronger focus on magnetic materials themselves, to facilitate the exchange of recent results and ideas.

Historically, ISAMMA was established through the consolidation of three international symposia: ISPMM (International Symposium on Physics of Magnetic Materials) in Japan, SOMMA (International Symposium on Magnetic Materials and Applications) in Korea, and ISAMT (International Symposium on Spintronics and Advanced Magnetic Technologies) in Taiwan.

The 1st ISAMMA was successfully held in Jeju, Korea, in 2007, followed by the 2nd in Sendai, Japan (2010), the 3rd in Taichung, Taiwan (2013), the 4th in Phu Quoc, Vietnam (2017), and the 5th in Quang Binh, Vietnam (2024).

ISAMMA continues to serve as an excellent platform for the magnetic materials community, fostering collaboration and the exchange of ideas across Asia and beyond.
